A Fine Arts graduate in drawing and painting from Stella Maris, Chennai, my journey with ceramics started a little more than two years back in mid 2018, when I first attended a hand building workshop. The love for clay has only grown with time as every time I touch it, it gives me the same fulfilment if not more for the body, mind and soul . A unique medium that connects with the Earth inside you, leading to a state of deep meditation and joy.

Mudpie Pottery is a ceramic studio based out of Chennai, Southern India. Each piece is handbuilt with a thought of bringing out something different than the usual. As with any piece of glazed ceramics or for that matter any art it is very difficult to replicate the same way the piece has been finished. Each piece is unique and created with the end user in mind. Mostly the forms are handbuilt to create organic shapes,

and at times to throwing on the wheel when looking to play with patterns and glazes on a perfect form. I don't stick to any standard style and always work the way I feel like at that moment, going with the flow. So I recommend you grab the piece if you like it, as I just keep experimenting and experiencing with each different work.
